What happened to the east region?

Surprised to see that this is the kind of change that Meg praises. Destroy the tenured management team and replace them with inexperienced yes men (and women). This was planned to remove those managers that had in-depth knowledge and experience and would push back on the idiotic BS that Conicelli is pushing. What a disaster

Meg, Will, and Chris are all backing this get younger philosophy. It may work in the short term but let’s see when you don’t have the benefit of a back order. The new reps and managers are clueless. Baxter is a joke of a sales force.

Because younger reps/managers don't push back. You're allowed to speak up but it needs to be in line with their way of thinking. Challenging their thought process just leads to trouble.

I am astounded that this has gone on for as long as it has. CC was not and is not qualified to be in the ASD role except that he has swagger, a velour jacket and a teenage haircut (all strong qualifications per Meg). When you look at the history he was a rep when Floseal was blowing up in the industry and 10 ml as just released (sending everyone's #s through the roof and customers did not even recognize what was happening. Then he transitioned into a BS Marketing role for Tisseel, when the shit hit the fan about the budgets being blown out at the hospital level. When emerged from Deerfield and was put into the RM role he was a terrible manager, didn't work with his people but from his office and no one on the team respected him both his region and the RM team. When he was appointed ASD and Miller took back over as RM it was a total shit show for him to cleanup. Now he sits on his thrown and spouts off about how reps need to interact with the teams contracting QBRs etc but he cannot interact with a customer without either insulting them or getting into an argument with them. The management team that made the east all left due to his stupidity and inability to lead. Now it is clear that there is no respect for him bc Meg just dissolved the East and is putting Rick where he should be and giving CC the scraps. It will be interesting to see CC carry the piss bucket for the ASD team...

All valid points but redundant information. Trouble is Meg likes him and wants to keep him. She wants "yes men" which is exactly what all of the ASDs are about. Canning Ron has them a little scared about their job security. As for Wil, well Will is just about worthless, as we all know. Only change that will be worthwhile is for this division to be sold.

Spoken like someone who totally gets it.

The 10ml spike in ortho was CCs catapult. It all dissolved, like many, once he left and hospitals realized how much they were spending/over using Flo. It was all an illusion.

The point on Miller was spot on.....he had so much cleaning up to do in the Philly area. The team could not stand CC.

    The haircut....well enough said.

Adversarial and no charisma when meeting with customers.....his go to best question is, “what challenges do you have today?” And “how are you being judged or evaluated?” The guy is an empty suit and anyone who pushed back on him for the sake of dialogue and improvement has left.

What a shame, CC is so far out of his league but too much of an a-hole to feel bad for him.

Miller and Conicelli are both frauds and are both cut from the same cloth.

Miller hired, trained and managed Conicelli. How embarrassing for Miller when that little tool box got the ASD position over him. He had no choice but to leave Baxter.

Millers time was up at Baxter. Just like most managers, nobody wants to work for Conicelli. He has hired a bunch of former reps to be his puppets. Who is the strongest manager in the East?

Revenge of the nerds...time for the odd to get even....CC was good rep earning fewer incentive trips than those that left. Meg is example of poor leadership judgement not CC. CC is just over his head seeking self preservation fueled by his bosses seeking stay in control....

He had one good year. One!! Do you know how many people can say that?? More people than you can’t count and they all have left, years ago. Lightning in bottle and getting up at 4AM does not an area director make. Little man, inside and out.
