New, inexperienced reps are thrown messaging to memorize but have no knowledge of industry standards. Peds reps are telling MDs "My data says you wrote X number of scripts in 13 weeks for "said competitor." Unbelievable. And these are PC reps! Feeding large offices every 14 days is against pharma standards and will certainly be investigated as quid pro quo.
That’s why they hire inexperienced reps. Any normal rep would not be willing to go into offices and do these things.
To the best of my knowledge, it isn't outside of compliance to tell a doctor their sales data. It isn't private information. I think it is really dumb and I would never do it because I think most clinics would think you were a total moron because they don't think in those terms. However I don't think it would get someone in trouble. Of course I could be wrong but that is my interpretation of the rules. The providers have the option to do the PDRP so their info isn't published if they don't like it.
What about the home baked cookies and cakes that the Hospital gal out of Oklahoma takes to her Neurosurgeons?
It's OK because ES and home office loves them when she brought some in during her last home office visit.
Arbor Pharma is being investigated for a number of violations. They practice age discrimination when hiring reps and/or firing/laying off older reps; they don't train properly on product fair balance & professionalism-- they encourage reps to bash other products to the doctors & staff; the reps are mostly young, "robot-like" reps (many under 30, and most under 40)...the older ones are a rare exception, usually transitioned in from Xenoport (or have shown to be submissive to the "Arbor way")...either way, they want heavy Kool-aid drinkers who will kiss butt, & can be molded to do things the unethical "Arbor way". Most of the young reps don't know any better...and the older reps just fear for losing their jobs. Arbor will fire somebody in a heartbeat if that somebody is not drinking enough of the Kool-aid... having your own point of view & different opinions does not work well if you want to work for Arbor Pharma. Karma is a witch-- the investigations (& former employee interviews) will bring their unethical actions to the surface.
I would be happy to hand over info as well!! I hope the investigators contact ALL of their former employees!!
Would be nice to see some of them go to club Fed. I hear they have great bible studies that management would really get into...
Kim does get panicked when you mention the word lawsuit. Just ask the rep that didnt get promoted to Senior, came up with a bogus claim of racism....and soon after a meeting in Atlanta with Kim....poof....became Senior. Place is a joke.
Arbor can't hide anymore...watch your backs this year as you have been warned anout your illegal practices yet haven't changed your ways
