“Accomplished and intelligent is a different thing.”

I never said the two were the same, but I would guess that most accomplished folks are above average intelligence.

You and I will have to disagree. If we’re using the word “intelligent” to mean above average intelligence, then my guess is most attending an Ivy league school are intelligent. I do agree that many with no degrees are above average intelligence.

Again we disagree. By any measure of intelligence (IQ, EQ, SQ etc…) both are above average.

Maddow’s impact on society varies depending on your political point of view. However, even the most strident republican would agree she is accomplished and intelligent.

Again. We agree to disagree. Attaining the presidency of the United States is a major accomplishment – and I would guess this opinion is held by most Americans.
