Interviewing for HAE position

    Can anyone give me an idea to the corporate culture at quest? Is there work/family balance? How are the bonus payouts? Any information will be appreciated.

    Hospital was the last place you can make good money, however they changed the comp plan last year so you wont make any money there either.

    You work 60+ hours a week if not 80, the job never ends, and it's all pricing and dealing with scum bags for the most part.

    The only part that is good is that you can meet some good labs, and they will probably offer you a good job rather than the shitty job being an HAE at Quest.

    ... and now they've hired a new Vice President of Hospital Sales, Kay Myrdal. The word around the Company from anyone who has had ineractions with her is that she snaps at people and is quite nasty!

    Don't Do It!

    No One Will Use Quest for Sendout... They use Specialty or Nichols.

    Effective Jan 1st 2011, there will be no Specialty or Nichols, only Quest. ALL OUTREACH BUSINESS WILL LEAVE!

    No better culture anywhere!! Work life balance is phenomenal. Bonus structure is very fare. Good luck in the interview process.
