How many others are trying to decide whether to just give up on the Otsuka partners and go it alone out here? My overlap people are absolutely driving me crazy, I think I need some help from my psychiatrists and I don't mean more scripts! Help!
Trouble really is that the otsuka people are demeaning and act like I am in her way. my manager says the otsuka mgr is telling her reps that we are the contract sales people
The Otsuka manager is exactly right! We are contract reps for Otsuka and Takeda, selling the biggest me-too in the market place. For Takeda, we are selling a insignificant product in their portfolio. For Otsuka, it’s all they really have, which shows how pathetic they are! Make no mistake, they call the shots.
Rexulti did not sell anything until we started selling it. The problem is that now we have so many reps who do not know how to sell to psychiatrists. Back when it was launched the company had the “legacy” psych reps who understood the market and were credible reps. My Otsuka reps can’t get past Abilify....Then again, they didn’t have to sell for the last 5 years of Abilify’s patent. They are horrible reps. Lundbeck will not pay for great psych reps, end of story.
