TW is not the worst of them: CD should be the first to go and SP very quickly afterward.

Actually, TW is the worst because he is "passive aggressive". He was also called out by HR several times and even had to take special training about 10 years back because all of his peers thought he was a major a-hole. He still is from what I can tell!

I quit J&J IT years ago when some of these ass clowns like TW were just starting to benefit from their tactics. TW is the product of the mating of a snake + weasel.

As an Asian woman, I felt TW was highly discriminating to me personally and other Asians that worked under him from 2007 though 2011. I voiced my concerns to HR and was promptly moved under Donna D who is no longer with the company. I scratch my head whenever his name comes up and wonder why the heck he can still work for a company that prides itself on diversity!

How is ABB the CIO @ jansen? Is he JnJ CIO material?

Arun BB is not the CIO of Janssen. Word has it Tom W will be appointed as the overall CIO. He seems to be the best of breed within J&J, but he lacks interpersonal skills. Hopefully, Alex and the board will look externally. The search seems to be taking a long time for whatever reason...

Well, if Weck becomes overall CIO, most of the talent will leave. He is not only a terrible leader, he has received numerous complaints for non-credo like behavior. He is an a-hole to the highest degree and is a liability!

The sad truth is that Tom Weck and Larry Jones are the only two IT leaders left (regardless of ones opinion ) who can even be considered for Global CIO role. ABB has a really bad legacy as TS VP under LC

Doubt weck survives once the new CIO is appointed. He is by far the biggest ass clown I've seen in my 18 years at J&J.

I thought they were going externally for this hire - which is why they are targeting Sept.

Good to see the CIO for JRD is announced. Seems to be very strong in terms of technical depth and infrastructure experience...

Hmm .. a former JnJ division IT Head has come to Abbott - he is displaying exactly the behavior above attributed to TW: a pattern of "passive aggressive" behavior, all peers, several business leaders, and several team members all think he is a major a-hole.

Is this type of behavior common among JnJ IT leaders?
