Relationships and getting them hooked up with the various side businesses most depuy reps have going.

Most of the 15 year+ DePuy reps in my area have left in the past 3 years. So the relationship thing doesn’t cut it. Still scratching my head why docs continue to use. Fool me once...

Knees declined by almost 2% in the quarter. While U.S. sales declined, we improved our performance for the fourth straight quarter driven by uptake of the ATTUNE Revision system.

    Hmmm I wonder why...

This is what you get when you mount a large red LED "DAYS UNTIL LAUNCH" clock on the wall in the hallway at DePuy, a year or more before launch! I was there too, fortunately not in a design capacity.

How many quarters in a row will knee sales decline? Going on 7 o 8 here with the Attune leading the charge. Timing couldn’t be worse given the market changes with robotics-Mako, Navio and Rosa. How many reps have left for greener pastures?

It amazes me that there are accounts around the country that are still using Depuy knees exclusively. Forcing surgeons to use Attune is a lawsuit waiting to happen!

Dave G in Springfield will be involved in a lawsuit for sure! He tells everyone that he forced his surgeons to use Depuy Attune! Case closed

Has anyone been able to get out of their noncompete because of Attune? Our distributor has driven out a lot of good reps. Just curious if anyone has been able to use Attune? If it’s not the loose trays it’s the ridiculous amount of backorder.

The Attune knee is terrible. Back orders are common. Get over it.

Attune is killing us! Just buy S&N and move on. They’re taking our talent day in and day out!!

Back orders on this scale are not common.

So Attune is still way worse than Sigma or LCS at 5 years in the UK registry. What are the spin doctors saying about that? No wonder prices are falling.

Attune is giving better patient outcomes just like Actis gives better patient outcomes. Overall the survivorship will be worse but the ones that survive do better. How do you manage that?

The evidence is clear, the Attunes that are not revised are doing great, whereas the ones that are loose are not.

I think we are all agreeing that surviving isn't living. Patients who don't get loose do better than with Sigma and LCS. Not so many get loose.

This thread is too funny... Gotta be the best sales pitch for Attune I've heard yet!

J&J Depuy just announced new cementless Attune?? Wasn’t the Attune cemented design considered cementless anyway?

Former Stryker rep..17 years...Let me list the lies told to surgeons and hidden by Stryker—TMZF metal pulled off market quietly—under the auspices of new design—Acc 2 is ti6..hmmm...v40 heads recalled surgeons told not to worry—4700 cases in court now—Rejuvenate/ABG gone-..Tritanium cup—lawsuits everywhere—Stryker launches Trident 2...hmmm...My Mother has Stryker knee one side and Attune on other...she will pick the Attune any day over the Stryker ‘ap slide’...and learn to read the registry people!! By the way I pulled out plenty of Stryker Scorpios/triathlons while with them...no one is immune to failures...and shame on reps that sell from the negative you embarrass the profession ..but this is the new Stryker way if cant beat them toss s’’t—

In all fairness you have just described every major company. Depuy, Stryker and ZB all have questionable products that just disappeared or were “re-designed” and re launched. I pray your mother’s Attune continues to do well and good luck with your new endeavors.
