I got to be there for a demo of the SPORT at SAGES and it was incredible. It's half the size of Da Vinci. I see them picking up small hospitals and larger surgery centers. I don't think larger da Vinci hospitals have anything to worry about now that SP is out. But this is def the first real threat I have seen. I visited TRXC's booth and ALF-X is a joke. Wires everywhere and its massive. The Surgibot is straight stick motorized. Not a robot as they claim. False advertising. I believe surgeons and hospitals will see through it.

That is great to hear. Where was this conference at? And what were they saying their price point would be? Doesn't Intuitive have a single-port robot as well for those smaller surgery centers/ smaller facilities? I thought they did? And do you know when this will come to market? Have they passed all the FDA red-tape/ human trial(s) yet? Thanks.

    Sages was in Boston.

Titan has yet to undergo any sort of human trials.

Trials are moving quickly! We should hear something shortly about completion IMO

I just went on an interview with Verb Surgical. That is the real deal. Ton of former Intuitive people there.

    What about Auris?

MDT announced yesterday that they are still two years out from seeing robotic "revenue" and they're launching first in India. I doubt Verb is any closer to coming to market. Titan is looking pretty good...

Will Titan be sold by a direct sales force or will they go the distributor route? If it performs well during trials this could be a nice opportunity to chase as a rep.

The Intuitive people have got to be tired of hearing how great other tech is that are not even FDA approved. Also, SP is niche surgery anyway. Give it a rest. ISRG aint nervous. Not even a little.

They just disposed of TRXC. Next will be CMR, and then MDT, what a POS that thing is going to be.

I think CMR will be the underdog. Great tech. Had an opportunity to use it.
If I'm being honest, their downfall will be related to the talent being brought on, not there technology.
A very underwhelming group of sales people!

ISRG should dispose of them rather quickly as well.
