MM is the turnaround architect who, when faced with enormous turnover, declining sales and a toxic culture, chose to plug a bunch of Valeant hacks with little to no GI experience into executive roles at Salix. He had the opportunity to bring in outside talent with fresh ideas to rebuild the culture Valeant destroyed. And chose the Valeant path of rearranging the deck chairs instead.

Sold all his stock on the way out the door. Guess our future isn’t as bright as he said it was.

It’s pretty bright. He amount of stock didn’t equal nearly the amount of stock that’s being bought today by investors. Someone just bought 1.5 million in our stock. Multiple people.

You’d take your money with you and invest it in your company now as well if you were the CEO. Makes business sense.

BB saw what was coming and got out. Good move on his part.

    He had NO clue.
They are backfilling his spot - this would have had little to no impact on BB. He left for more $$$. Which I am also going to do.

Whether it would impact him personally or not, I bet Bill saw this coming and wanted no part of it. In the end, he was as fed up and frustrated as we are. I’m happy for him for making the move. And I hope he hires a ton of Salix people.
