How's this working out for anyone?

Yeah, will anyone that's been at IQVIA a while please share your thoughts on this...

It sounds to me like there's NO vacation policy. At the very least, it sounds very subjective based on what your IQVIA manager wants to allow. So they could approve one person's time off and not another's? How can that be fair? And what if they don't approve it... I think I saw that it doesn't matter if it's paid or unpaid. So what if you've had a vacation planned for a year and they don't approve the time off (paid or unpaid)? Are you left with either cancelling your vacation with your family or otherwise lose your job?! I've never heard of anything like this!

This is a joke. If you work in the office maybe it is good. For billable people in the field it is very subjective. This is not what they promote it to be.

I’ve had no problems with getting vacation time, sick time, bereavement, care for ill family member... seriously, all of these. In fact most companies only give 3 days for bereavement and I think that’s pretty standard but my manager gave me 2 weeks. Situation was unique but he was very understanding.

That's good to hear. But it's also a good example how it's very subjective. You have an understanding manager, but not everyone does. Especially if you're on the sales side.
