Does anyone have any prescribers that work from their home now providing consultations over the internet? I had 5 prescribers close their offices in the last 4 months, because they save themselves rent, time and money since they don't have to commute to their office...Did some research and it seems to be a growing trend, especially for Psych ARNPs...

Was told not to stop by their residence for any sales call. Also, they won't take any samples anymore and scripts will be called in to the patient's pharmacy...

If I was an ARNP or even an MD I would do the same thing...

None of the big companies have adjusted to the new realities of pharmaceutical sales...yet. While it is true that the interaction with a sales representative is the most effective way to market a drug, the reality is this holds true only as long as he/she can get in front of the provider...

But change is inevitable...it’s just a matter of time before these companies will dump reps by the truckload...

Drug reps will be obsolete in a few years. Perhaps you should listen more carefully to Andrew Yang.
