    via Purdue Pharma has an offer on the table to settle thousands of opioid lawsuits in one sweeping deal valued at up to $12 billion. To reach the settlement, Purdue hoped to override some vocal plaintiffs and nab a litigation stay during its restructuring. Turns out, the judge agreed with Purdue.
