is a job at this company worth entertaining? Are reps happy and are goals attainable (are majority of people actually earning bonus)? I’m interviewing for an opening in my area but worried about working for a Valeant owned company. Feedback on people’s experience at this company is appreciated. Thanks.

Also, any thoughts on top derm companies to work for right now or are they all in trouble currently?

If you are interviewing with the NYC mgr I wish you all the best of luck with that. Little napoleon complex going on over there.

There are 2 positions in NYC that recently opened. One is the Manhattan territory and the other is for Brooklyn. Any insights? Are the bonuses not attainable which would explain the turnover? Thanks in advance.

extremely high turnover, goals were and are a joke, leadership is a joke! If you are desperate for a job please take it, otherwise move along unless you want to be miserable and micromanaged!

fantastic culture? talk about fake news!
we have a VP of sales who has been in hot water for sexual harassment.
our division president has no clue what he is doing.
    we have widespread management favoritism.
    incompetence throughout our market department
    junk data
this is place is where everyone opens the same door takes a crap and pretends the smell doesn't exist

New York is bleeding reps something fierce. I often wonder why the NY Mgr left the dupixent world which has no competition to come back to the Ortho-Turd. She's either stupid or she was about to get tossed!

The lure of a promotion can lead to many poor decisions. This looks like one of them....

There is nothing that can repair this broken division. The only fix is replacing our division leadership and until then we are all just floating in the sea with life jackets looking to be plucked from the water.

Agreed. We are at the mercy of god awful decisions made by OD leadership.

One thing is certain, the derm division remains a total drag on the BHC balance sheet and no wants the division.

We seriously need more lotions as a gel, gels as a cream and creams as an ointment. We cannot be more successful until we have developed at least 16 types of each product and then make them in new multiple sizes as well.

Isn't that the truth. We also need to expand our MSL team so they can pretend they are bringing value to our customers and while you're at maybe we should increase the head count to our regional marketing managers as they have become as useful as ice scrappers in Hawaii.

We have MSL’s & regional marketing managers? Where are these mystical creatures? What do they even do???

If I was to get a prescription for Halobetasol 0.05% cream 50gm × 2, I would pay roughly $120.00 at the pharmacy. If I was to get a prescription for Tazarotene 0.1% cream 30gm × 3, I would pay roughly $321.00 at the pharmacy. If I was to get a prescription for Duobrii 0.01% / 0.045% lotion 100gm, I would pay roughly $825.00.

$441.00 for 5 tubes of cream or $825 for 1 bottle of lotion?

Are either of these two choices going to provide me with the ultimate jerking off experiences? Probably not.

If I am a physician, I pick the cheapest therapy. If I am a patient, I expect the cheapest therapy. Psoriasis is pretty much a cosmetic condition. Are the small percentage differences between the two ingredients going to make much of a difference? Probably not.

Valeant Health Inc. (BHC), for the most part, is an expensive glorified generics company.

Why fire Billy? I'd fire the guy in charge of setting the prices for these products. Then I would evaluate the management and salesforce.

Moreover, if I am a CEO making at least 20 million per year I'd want every psoriasis patient to have a bottle of Duobrii too.

My apologies to those suffering from psoriasis. I am positive that psoriasis is more than a cosmetic condition to those that suffer from the disease. I don't believe in this company's leadership and their business model.
