Well, we were able to play a regular 18 holes today at Quail Valley Golf Course. It was hot and humid, but we were able to get through it! I shot and 86. Not real good, but I'll blame it on the heat!
There is a new burger place that's opening in a few locations here in the suburbs of Ft. Bend County. It's called IN & OUT. It's a California chain, but when we went by, it was not yet open in Missouri City, near Quail Valley Golf Course. We were unable to find out exactly when they would be open for business! One is also supposed to open in Sugar Land.
I just got home from taking Amitiza on an afternoon walk. Yes, it's still hot!
Tonight is the A.L. Wild Card Game between Tampa Bay and Oakland. One game! The winner of this game plays the 'Stros on Friday!
Thanks to our VIEWERS, the VIEW count has gone above 258,600 now!
Yesterday afternoon I helped out at the Resale Shop by the Woman's Shelter until about 4:00 PM. I always enjoy working the registers!

There were a few people missing from our walk by the lake this morning. I know they're having a golf tournament at Pecan Grove today. It's still quite warm and humid by the lake, but next week we're supposed to get a cool front come through!
Tampa Bay beat Oakland last night, so the 'Stros will play them starting Friday night. I'm trying to hit- up my friend for tickets for either Friday or Saturday's playoff game! Verlander will pitch for the 'Stros on Friday, and Cole will pitch on Saturday!
My yard guys just left here this morning. They did a great job as usual, and cut down a large branch from one of my trees in the back yard, and hauled it away.
The Resale Shop manager asked me to come by on Saturday and help with stocking new arriving merchandise. I may.
The VIEW count is increasing nicely, getting close to 259,000!

Most everyone was back with their dogs this morning at the lake. It's still quite warm and humid at the lake this morning. But as always we had fun!
This afternoon the 'Stros play Tampa Bay here. Verlander is pitching. I think I have a couple of tickets for tomorrow's night game. Hopefully, my friend comes through!
The VIEW count continues to get closer to 259,000! Thanks to those who enjoy my posts and read this board!

A great Saturday! All our friends were at the lake this morning walking our dogs! Although it was very warm and humid, we had fun walking! We do need rain again, but according to the weather report, the chances are slim.
The 'Stros won their game against Tampa Bay yesterday! Verlander pitched well, as usual, giving up only one hit while he was in there. The 'Stros won 6- 2! Cole pitches tonight!
Thanks again to our VIEWERS, (however many there are)! The VIEW count has now exceeded 259,000!
This afternoon I may stop by the Resale Shop to help- out if they need me!

Most everyone was again at the lake earlier. And yes, it's still hot and humid. Can't wait for the cold front to come in by Tuesday morning! But as usual, we all had an enjoyable walk!
The 'Stros won again last night, beating The Rays 3-1. Gerrit Cole was magnificent once again! Tuesday the teams play in Tampa. Zack Greinke pitches for the 'Stros. The 'Stros look very good so far and hopefully they can wrap - it up on Tuesday, and hopefully play the Yankees here at home. I have not been able to go to any of the games so far.
The Texans play Atlanta today here. I'll watch the game in my Media Room, but I'm not all that excited!
And the VIEW count continues to increase. Thanks to our VIEWERS!

Several of us met at the lake earlier this morning with our dogs. It was an enjoyable walk, because the heat and humidity were lower. A welcomed change!
The 'Stros play in Tampa this afternoon. If they win today, they'll end tis round of the playoffs. But Charley Morton is pitching for the Rays, and he's good! I hope Grienke can beat him!
Tomorrow I'll work at the Woman's Shelter again for a few hours.
I'm waiting on my 3rd qtr. bonus check for my HHC job. It will be decent, as I have 8 patients in home care in my territory!
The VIEW count is now above 259,100! Thanks to our VIEWERS!

A very nice day at the lake this morning. It's our first touch of fall weather, and it was comfortable!
The 'Stros lost yesterday in Tampa. Tonight Verlander pitches for the 'Stros with only 3 days rest. I hope he does well and ends the first round, so they can get ready to play the Yankees.

This afternoon I'll spend a few hours volunteering at the Resale Shop by the Woman's Shelter. I'm sure I'll work at one of the registers! I should be done by 4:00.
Thanks again to our VIEWERS! The VIEW count is now close to 259,200!

We played 18 holes today! It was comfortable because the temperature and humidity was lower than usual. It's still in the upper 80's, but it was bearable on the golf course! I shot an 82, and most everyone had a decent score. We played at Sugar Creek, near he doc's house.
For lunch we had Chines Food. We ate at a new restaurant in Sugar Land called "The Cooking Girl". It was most of us first time to eat there. It was good, but a bit expensive for Chinese Food. The food was cooked different as well. I had a pork dish, and it was quite unusual! I brought some home for dinner!

The 'Stros lost yesterday! The series is tied at 2 games each, and game 5 is tomorrow here. Cole will pitch for the 'Stros tomorrow against the Rays. Verlander lost the game yesterday, pitching with 3 days rest. A mistake, I think.
Thanks to our VIEWERS, the VIEW count is now over 259,200!
Yesterday afternoon I worked about 3 hours at the Resale Shop!

Warm again today, with higher temperature and humidity. But Amitiza and I walked around the lake with our friends.
Tonight the ;Stros play here at home. I'm still trying to get tickets (2) for the game. This is game 5, so the winner moves on to play the Yankees.
My yard guys just left, and as usual they did a great job!
We're getting closer now to 259,300 with our VIEW count. Thanks to those VIEWERS who still enjoy reading my posts!

Amitiza and I went to the lake earlier. A cool front has blown in now! It has also started to rain this morning. This is fine because my yard needed the rain!

The 'Stros won game 5 last night and await the next round of the playoffs against the Yankees. This series starts tomorrow here at Minute Maid Park. Zack Greinke will probably start for the 'Stros.
Next week I should receive my 3rd qtr bonus check from my HHC job. I'm excted because it should be pretty decent. The company is very good in getting out the bonus checks fairly quickly!
Thanks again to our VIEWERS! We are now in excess of 259,300 for the VIEW count!

When I took Amitiza to the lake this afternoon, the temperature had really dropped! The temperature is now about 61 degrees! This is our first cold front of the season, and it feels pretty good! Tomorrow it's supposed to warm- up again. Personally, I like the temperature to remain above 60 degrees year- round.
All else seems to be well, and I thank our VIEWERS again for at least reading my posts.
Tonight my spouse and I will go out for dinner, probably Mexican Food. We'll watch the N.L. Division playoff from St. Louis when we get home. The Cardinals play the Washington Nationals! The 'Stros game tomorrow is a sell- out! I don't want standing room tickets!

It was quite cold this morning at the lake. It makes me miss the 80 degree temperatures I've gotten used to! I know now I'm a warm weather person! How about YOU Sweetness??? But Amitiza seemed to enjoy the walk anyway!
Tonight the 'Stros play the Yankees. I'll watch the game in my Media Room with friends! I hope Grienke has a good game. I think Tanaka pitches for the Yankees. The 'Stros have home field advantage because they had the better won- lost record.
The VIEW count is increasing nicely, thanks to our VIEWERS! We have had over 259,400 VIEWERS!

All our friends were at the lake earlier this morning, and the temperature was quite pleasant! I think all the dogs enjoyed their walk. I know Amitiza did. It was very pleasant.
The 'Stros lost to the Yankees last night. They aren't hitting, and the pitching is suffering. Verlander pitches for the 'Stros tonight. I hope he is well- rested to make a good showing. This is really a "must game" for the 'Stros. They don't want to go to New York trailing the series 2- 0. I'm an ex- New Yorker, but since I now live here in Houston, I'm pulling for the 'Stros! Who do YOU like in this one, Sweetness???
Many thanks again to our VIEWERS, as the VIEW count is pushing towards 259,500!
I'll probably watch some of the Texan- Chiefs game this afternoon, or maybe watch another more exciting pro- football game!

It was fun walking by the lake this morning. We all discussed the 'Stros victory over the Yankees last night! Great game, and tomorrow the series moves to New York for game 3! The relief pitchers did better than they have most of this year! Tomorrow Cole pitches for the 'Stros against Saverino.
Thanks to our VIEWERS, as the VIEW count continues to increase!
The Texans managed to beat the Chiefs yesterday as well! A good day for Houston sports teams!

Amitiza and I went for our walk by the lake this morning. It was quite warm again, and a few of our friends were not there because they were playing golf today. My golf game is scheduled for tomorrow at Pecan Grove. No rain is expected. We've decided on Mexican Food for lunch!
The 'Stros play this afternoon in New York. I'll be watching the game with my neighbor in my Media Room.
I received my bonus check yesterday from my HHC job. The placements and close relationship I have with my offices has paid off! We have an opening in New Orleans, if anyone has an interest, maybe we can work out a way for you to apply. I'm not sure how.
My thanks again to our VIEWERS! The VIEW count is now above 259,500!
This afternoon I'll work at the Woman's Shelter Resale Shop for a few hours!

We managed to play almost 9 holes before the rain came down. We'll have lunch at 1:00 at the Hickory Barn in Richmond. It's very overcast and rainy today. I'm surprised!
Yesterday I worked for about an hour and a half at the Resale Shop next to the Woman's Shelter. I came home to watch the baseball game. The 'Stros beat the Yankees 4-1! Cole pitched well again! he always seems to win! They're supposed to play game 4 tonight at Yankee Stadium, but they may get rain as well.
I'm proud of the 'Stros! Even the relief pitching seems to be doing well!
The VIEW count continues to increase each day! Thanks to our VIEWERS!

It was somewhat cooler this morning at the lake. Amitiza and the other dogs seemed a bit more frisky this morning!
Well, the baseball game was rained out yesterday, and it's been re- scheduled for tonight. Greinke is supposed to pitch tonight for the 'Stros against Tanaka for the Yankees. If the 'Stros can win tonight, they'll go up 3- 1 in the series!
My yard guys just left this morning. They did a great job as always on my yard. They mowed, edged, and picked up tree branches that had fallen over the last several days.
The VIEW count is now over 259,600! Thanks to our VIEWERS!

The temperature was still cooler at the lake this morning. And the dogs seemed to maintain being frisky! The temperature is in the low 60's now, but it's expected to reach about 80 degrees this afternoon.
Well, the 'Stros won big last night at Yankee Stadium! They have a 3-1 lead in the playoffs, and could end it tonight with a victory at Yankee Stadium! Verlander is pitching for the 'Stros, against Paxton for the Yankees. The game starts just after 6:00 PM my time. (CST)
The VIEW count continues to rise! Thanks to our VIEWERS!

Ahhhhh! Welcome back Sweetness! As long as we have VIEWERS such as YOURSELF, the VIEW count should continue to increase at its own pace! It's amazing Sweetness, that YOU still continue to follow my posts, probably daily, on this board.
What's it been now, about 10 (ten) years??? Still unable to say WHY it is that YOU enjoy my posts! A long- term follower like YOURSELF should have the "GUTS" to answer questions! But FEAR and IGNORANCE still rule YOUR life! How pitiful!
It must be very difficult for YOU to go too long without writing! But the VIEW count does continue to climb!
