Are the reps still required to take photos of the sample closets? Showing CeraVe, LRP, and competitors on the shelf. The company initiative from upper management.
Must be since the VP of sales is enforcing it at all the POA's! Guess reps are encouraged to throw away competitors samples as well for more shelf space in the sample closet. She insists this is legal!!!!
Haven't heard anything about throwing samples away. However, reps are still encouraged to take pictures but it is not going to be mandatory moving forward. After tirelessly communicating to management that it is awkward in offices to perform this action, they are starting to listen. many regional directors have witnessed sales calls that have become awkward after requesting taking photos of sample closets. Regional directors have been instrumental in convincing management that this is not a professional request in a physicians office.
There was ONE purpose for taking pictures of sample closets. To prove that we are working. The photos will be unnecessary once they slap GPSs on our mobile device provided by the company.
