The entire New York Spine sales division has gone down the toilet. What happened to the sales force? Nobody in New York uses Medtronic Spine anymore. It is bad.
they have all gone to stryker/k2m. watch out for stryker, they are investing in spine and will be a place to be in the next few years
All the Medtronic spine business in New York dissipated. It is absolutely impossible to turn that business around. They lost their entire distribution channel in New York. They lost everything. There is no leadership. Unless they make changes quickly, Medtronic Spine's image in New York will be known as a third class company with no research and development. They need to bring in a heavy hitter that knows the New York market, or it will be impossible to remove Stryker.
its all about the representation and less about the company. The surgeons followed the reps. Those reps are sharp and have solid relationships built on years of trust. Surgeons won’t come back to MDT until MM/PK/MH leave and I can’t see that happening.
You can add Charlotte to that list. Person in charge had no clue what he was doing, RVP sat on his a$$ and watched it go to nothing. It is a hot bed for removals at this point. Otherwise no rep needed.
