I have been in business for some time now, so I find it interesting to look into various companies CEO backgrounds. Just to see how they got there. So I ran across the CEO of ResMed. I thought, hmmm, this guy looks YOUNG to be the CEO, but hey! Maybe he’s some tech genius who invented something for cpap’s!?? Then, I see that he graduated with a chemical engineering degree and an MBA from MIT. There it is. Right? That’s why! But I continue to read his resume. He Became a board member of Zimmer while only at the Manager level! Ain’t that odd?? So I keep reading. I don’t care how smart this kid is and where his degrees are from, You don’t move into a CEO Role THAT QUICKLY! So I go to Wikipedia and boom! It hits me. The kids’ Father founded ResMed, so naturally he gets to leap frog over every guy there, who spent half of their adult life building that company alongside his father. For what? To see him hand over the reins to his son and pay him $9 million a year!? I’d LOVE to know if this kid is worth $9 mil a year!?? Mick, when you go to bed at night, do you ever wonder where you’d be grinding it out right now, if not for nepotism? Could you have done ANYTHING great on your own? I honestly am not jealous. I really don’t know that I could do that?? I’d feel very uncomfortable doing that. EVERYONE would KNOW that I’m only in that role bc of my last name. I would at least want to have made my bones out there in the world for a while on my own. Yeah, you can say he went to MIT, etc. but did Daddy give MIT a donation? Or did ol’ Mick get preferential treatment getting in there too? I hope he’s sharp. I do! I hope he deserves it. Because it would be hard for me to go through EVERY DAY in Daddy’s shadow!

That’s what you get when you only hire under qualified blondes. Customers comment all the time of the hitler like hiring practices. Being good looking by being thin, blonde and blue eyes will compensate for lack of good service and knowledgeable representation. Racism and entitlement is the ReMed way!

Yup this is a racist company. Rare to see any people of color and rare to see anyone who isn't brlode and blue. Customers notice and are beginning to take their business elsewhere.

Wah-Wah-Wah, I’m not good enough so I want hand outs and special treatment. If I don’t get it, you’re racist!

Why aren’t there any people of color working for ResMed? This is fascinating. Women, lots of them. People of color, don’t see any. And why is everyone blonde hair and blue eyed? I’ve been her for 15 months now and we have a serious problem with diversity and inclusion.

actually your hand out is the color of your skin, affirmation action for Caucasian is the standard. You can’t compete on a level playing field so you leverage your whiteness. Pathetic!

Tired of defending this place with customers when they state the obvious

The new affirmative action is to hire and promote women.

I agree! I feel like I am working in Europe or Australia. The racism is real in ResMed. Never felt that a victim of racism till I joined ResMed.
