All Big-Pharma companies use this model. No new or original R&D for the past decade.

Which is why Pharma is going down the toilet.

Is BMS cheap enough today for a Pfizer buy after the thrashing the stock price took?

Not yet but getting real close with the negative BMS clinical trial news and subsequent price drop

Recent Bloomberg article sites Pfizer no longer interested in BMS now eyeing Celgene.

Similar article says Pfizer would consider BMS if it is devalued. Look at the stock price...dropped nearly 12 billion since Friday.

A bid for BMS is unlikely this round. It's a hazy dream that Ian keeps dangling just to see BMS get all hopeful. Not going to happen.

    Thanks, Mr. Bloomberg.

Why would BMS be hopeful? Pfizer is a shithole. I hope this doesn’t happen.

Can this deal happen already? I'm sick of waiting.

And you think that it will make things better? If so, you’re delusional. At best, it will just delay the inevitable maybe a year.
Combining two shitshows isn’t the answer.

With the current BMS stock price, Pfizer might be able to get both BMS and Celgene for the same price they would have paid for one last year.

the answer is not for a long time if ever. There’s no need now.

We should buy them now just to get Celgene.

Face it, no one wants BMY and their negativity, but Celgene's assets -both product and people - would help us stay around for another decade.

Which wouldn’t necessarily you would be around for another decade. They’re a bigger shitshow than Pfizer.

Any news on this front? Looks like BMS will be raking in dough in the next 5 years based on current articles. And if I remember correctly, Pfizer loves dough.

no shit Sherlock. That doesn’t mean that Pfizer can’t spend the money to buy the combined company once the transaction closes.

Lets see what LE 11/12 financials look like in the end of this years re-phased forecasts. Pfizer has been kicking the" can" down the path all year to make numbers. It will be even tougher next year.
