I think Purdue put the fear in people to report! I know in my area we reported all the time! Nobody wanted to risk not reporting and then the doctor got busted and they would not pull out the history and then you would be screwed! That being said I never felt like anything ever happened to them once reported other than Purdue made more profits!

So did you give back the guilty bonuses you got? Or maybe you weren't good enough to make any and are still bitter after 15-plus years

No, actually I quit shortly thereafter. Couldn't stomach the unethical sleazeballs any longer.

BTW, the only reason I come back to this board after so long is because I find it very entertaining that Purdue is finally being called down on all their crap. Ha ha....

I can see where you couldn't fathom someone putting their own value system above the almighty dollar. The cash Purdue was offering was difficult to turn down, but believe it, there are some who put values above all else. It's possible cuz I did it.

Pathetic fool, we earned our pay and did nothing wrong. Junkies and greedy Doctors RXs ruined it for honest folks that needed pain management.

Puh lease!!! Drink the kool-aid much?? Junkies and greedy doctors were a part of the problem, a small part.

The bigger issue is the payoffs ftom Purdue to the AAPM and APS, along with the reps getting patted on the back who had doctors who put patients on thousands of mg of Oxy q12h. These reps won every contest and followed every Purdue guideline.

Take your rose colored glasses off and answer this (with the current knowledge that Purdue paid every huideline society off)....What type of patient requires 1200 mg q12h of Oxycontin?

Yeah who requires such a small dose! Probably someone with an ingrown toenail! Remember the little old lady driving around AZ who was on 9600mg/day and this was talked about by the regional manager all the time as well as the speakers for Purdue all the time! BT pushed the titrate to effect, no ceiling dose and required voicemail success stories about it all! what a tool he was as he read all the sales motivation books and spouted this garbage continuously!

Region Zero was a joke. I'm sure Gasdia and Wendell laughed all the way to the bank!
