Gilenya National Sales Manager Resigns

We have nothing to worry about. This has no affect on our level. We’ll be here another decade.

 

Contract termination date 12/30/19. Novartis sent it yesterday....we won’t be told until nov 30th (30 day window) they want us to finish out the quarter strong. My novartis counterpart told me they are going to have training on gilenya in December....both the mayzent and new ofatumamab team.

 

i thought there was a 60 day window for legal reasons?

 

Can you give any specific proof that Novartis “sent out” Gilenya contract to be cancelled without revealing your identity?
I take it you are from home office any help or specifics to show this is not BS

 

I bet it’s true. I was on a contract and a rep from manufacture told me she heard contract was going to be dissolved two months before it was. She said start looking for another job. Two months later they laid all of us off. Be prepared!

 

This is all total bullshit! I am on the contract and the National Director did not resign because of the contract ending. He was offered a permanent position with Novartis. They are backfilling his position, and the new National Director will be in place early December. The contract was renewed until 12/30/2020, not this year! And if it was over this year, why would we being updating our target lists for Novartis on a Javelin tool for next year, and why would they be giving us an added bonus incentive comp kicker for Q1 2020. This bullshit is coming from a disgruntled person, thats all.

 

so why aren’t any of us being considered for permanent positions at NVS? They have open mayzent and new drug spots?

 

because it’s not 2007 anymore, they don’t roll contract reps into the company anymore

 

You are being quite NAIVE!!!! He's leaving because he does not want to be UNEMPLOYED again. Don't you get it. As far as the Javelin referenced above, it's so the MAyzent reps can hit the ground running. WE ARE ABSOLUTELY DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Have to agree with above poster. No planning being done for Amplity Reps for first quarter.

Possibly True. I interviewed for a vacancy and was not contacted after initial interview and finally heard that timeline has been delayed. Not a good sign.

 

Mayzent reps training on Gilenya delayed until at least February. Was supposed to happen in December. This contract is not ending anytime soon,,,,
