Are there any new innovative products coming to the product pipeline in the critical care division? Trying to determine whether this role has much growth potential. On the surface, they look like tried and true products but not a whole lot of innovation going forward. Also noticed a high amount of turnover at the moment in this division. Can someone explain? Are reps making money? I take everything I read on here with a grain of salt, but I am trying to size up an opportunity and would appreciate some honest feedback.

Don’t do it... high turnover, because a lot of turmoil: products that fail and malfunction. Also, exec vp that increases prices on customers and squeezes every penny out of the comp plan she can, double whammy. Merit increases gone.. to make money, it’s not straight forward.. lots of caveats to make the good money. This product line takeA a clinical person a good 6 months to get going.. if you’re not clinical, give yourself a year to be effective. Definitely a division of Edwards that has taken a nose dive. Save yourself a year of frustration and go elsewhere.

Yes there are innovative products coming... but for the foreseeable future, nothing new to sell... Flotrac has been out for over 15 years... selling old stuff is rough.

Any updates on the critical Care? It looks like an exciting opportunity with new opportunities in the pipeline.
