Of course you are being paid decent $...Novartis pays one of the highest salary for big pharma. But trust me Neuro, and especially immunology are being paid significant more. A guy in Derm just got hired on at 173k base. The bonus at plan I think is 38k. No one in Cardio is making anywhere close to that as a normal territory rep.

Ummm, okay. This is the strangest thing when people just start throwing insults at other people based on the division in pharma they are in. We are all in pharma. Period. Now, if you’re a doctor, an engineer, lawyer, etc, maybe you’d have a leg to stand on, but those people are secure in their worth and position in life so they wouldn’t stoop down to the level to start insulting another being on how much money they make or measure their worth based on “specialty” or primary care. We all make decisions for our own lives for different reasons, and I promise you, I for one second wouldn’t even think to try to stomp someone out or insult them because my perception is that I make more money than them or are a better “quality” rep than them. That to me sounds like someone that is dissatisfied with their self-worth so has to try to convince themselves there’s now different levels of pharma that make their job more respectable. What’s wrong with you guys? . What business is it of anyone else what one considers good money or what makes someone feel good about themselves. Make some changes in your life if you have this need to behave so childishly .

Thank you for an intelligent, reasonable post. I would imagine you're a great representative since it seems you read people well.

The previous poster was just pointing out- what we already know- Novartis treats other divisions better than cardio. Trust me I know I work just as hard as some idiot in derm (talk about a primary care gig too). What sucks too is that it’s hard to get out of this division.

Then I should have been promoted LONG ago. I must be doing something wrong. Maybe if I babbled incoherently a little more...
