Some AMs do. But not many. Hospitals have made it so difficult for any reps, except for metal reps. The need to support a pharmaceutical product in the OR is truly beyond the comprehension of the Pharnacy. EXPAREL requires constant education due to staff turnover and surgeon inattention. The fiction entered into our CRM is laughable. Always felt the RDs and ADs should have to account for their daily activities just like us. Now that would be interesting reading!
Did the reps ever really go into the OR?! I hear there is trouble with the medical reps out East, Roy and the pharmacist "that never leaves her house" trying to flush the old guard out. Also, heard the guy in southern cali is gone for some, not sure of the reason. Beware, like the Ides of March its the season that Pete the "Fat man", Vaughn, "when I was with Stryker" and Glen " I spend all of my time in the home office" will be firing people that have been naughty or if your over 45. Make sure you have your documentation ready for HR!

"Make sure you have your documentation ready for HR" -- seriously? Not Pacira HR -- they won't help you. Well, the front line staff may try to help, but VP - not going to make waves. And if the issue IS that you're over 45, he'll be first to want to boot you. Did you notice that the HR team is getting younger as younger as the 'old folks' leave?
The problem in HR starts at the top, RK. He drove LH away. Told she was too old to move up. That’s the VP of HR!!!!! So many stories from Parsippany about his inappropriate comments and behavior. Frankly, with all the crap being done by leadership why would you think HR wouldn’t follow their example. There is no real HR enforcement. If there was VS would be gone. LN would be gone. RW would be gone. GR would be gone. JD would be gone. LD would be gone. Whew, I could go on and on and on.

No one expected professionalism or humanity from HR Loren or Denny Destructo but fellow employees held out hope that Counselor KW with her access, means and money would use her resource to support a loyal asset for the greater good. So much for the kumbaya “Women in Business” the-atre, a token nod to a female majority and the precursor to the “Abel vs Pacira” Lawsuit. Can we afford the negative coverage, industry chatter and potential revelation of boldly flouted policy violations (gaining on you, Roy)revolving around the cliché of a misogynist boy’s brigade? Remains to be seen but i for one would prefer not to find out.
PM’s COEs are tainted. His region had 2-3 more people than the rest of the regions and COE was based on total region revenue instead of revenue per AM. Unfair, yes. That’s the Pacira way. The Slubey coup was Denny’s idea. Pete and Glenn aren’t smart enough to conceive that scheme. The real motivation, with Slubey gone there’s more chocolate chip cookies for PM.
