I think it may be quiet for awhile. Probably have more interviews to do and PDUFA date is at end of December.

 

I was told sometime in the early parts of December which could be the first or second week. Final interviews are still being done in some localities and it’ll depend upon HR as to when offers are released. Hope this helps.

 

If you knew this already, why did you even consider it? If you didn't consider it and are just posting, you're flat out pathetic for caring.

 

It’ll be interesting to see if contingency offers begin to go out before pdufa

 

Word of advice for anyone considering a position in VA~ check out actavis board -JD in va - check out allergan board -deegan Both are on same guy. Years of information and pages of threads on his management style, personality, you name it. - take the warning signs seriously... a zebra doesn’t change its stripes.

and it’s this type of response in defense of the guy that makes the complaints seem credible. No one defends by any means other than name calling and insults. So if these are the types of people who are his loyalists than I feel sorry for his team

 

Also for PITTSBURGH PA area- check out JZ or Pittsburgh DM on both Salix and Depomed boards. We all know a bad manager can make or break this job. Do your homework and consider carefully.

 

Have worked for many DMs from several Pharma companies covering my town of Pittsburgh. Everyone of them was wicked & no good! It’s a competitive and limited-to-no access to healthcare professionals working environment. So the DMs whether they actually live here or cover it from elsewhere just can’t handle it. There’s great chance for failure as well as great success if things work out therefore DMs are overly aggressive to succeed.

 

You won't find many places on the map where accomplished successful directors or managers exist that also have that success in this very different cns setting. We didn't know the reasons, but after the Atlanta interviews a group of us talked at the airport and there are serious shortcomings

Before you say it, all but 1 of us will have a decision to make after PDUFA if the product is a go from FDA

 

There appears to be some really concerning stuff out there on a few of these managers. I think this is the first time I’ve noticed complaints on managers go on for years and at various companies. Alarming!

 

Could you please clarify? So are you saying that all of you but one already know you are the first choice candidate?

Knows if they’re 1st choice or not. It’s been pretty quiet. I think there were more interviews this week.

 

I picked up on it during the phone part and withdrew my name from consideration. I’m not sure if I would have been moved forward or not but the recruiter said I was not the first one who had done this. So it appears your real life read was spot on

Anyone hear who the mid Atlantic RBM is? Thoughts on drug getting approved?

 

They had major issues with low comp so good directors and good managers mostly declined

As for the drug it certainly will get approved.
