I finally had a doctor just tell me that they simply can't support my product after the way their previous Sublocade rep was treated. He had great relationships and when he was asked to come to an impromptu meeting, he was let go. He left the meeting and went to his biggest writers and told them how it all went down. I'm his replacement, and have not made an ounce of gaining previous business back. Any advice?
Gotta ask- what in the world Motivated you to apply and accept a position at Indivior??? It is career suicide coming here!
You probably did ask the hiring manager the right questions during the interview. Also, the manager probably blamed the former rep too!
Sigh. Neither of those answers help me. This dude evidently had some strong relationships. I came here hoping to get some buy and bill experience on my resume but it's all but impossible to move. Evidently the previous rep didn't down the company any. These clinics are ALL irritated with the manager/company because they liked him so much. Now they just aren't going to bother with any of it. Everything they wrote they wrote out of respect for the previous rep.
Make the conversations about the patient, not about you or the previous rep. Dont call me Shirley, but surely doc you prescribed this medication for the benefit of the patient....etc etc, etc..
I had to think of who had been fired from Kentucky. Been so many leave. Only one let go was BB. U really think he would put this? Doubtful
BB barely worked when he was here. I doubt he had any good relationships with his offices. You have to call on them to build rapport.
Regardless of who it was I still need some real advice. These people are not welcoming in the least since the rep left.
