Please stop the reply all’s especially the thank you, and greats, and mindless nonsense. The only culture that promotes is “look at me”. Please
Good luck selling your POS drug. So glad I didn't invest in your company. Pfizer will buy you for pennies on the dollar
This is what I have learned here that this is the typical response to most questions. Today alone I have had to delete about 100 emails wasting about an hour. Across the entire company this starts to become a financial issue and it adds nothing. All of us hate it, but a few think it is great so they force it on us. It makes sense to reply all when you have 15 employees but when you waste the time of hundreds of employees, you become not only an asshole, you become a drain on resources.
Gotta love it when new people come in and want to change a culture (which I think is pretty damn good) to match the culture of whatever big pharma shithole you just left (which you were probably bitching about at the time), as was said before, if you don't like it quit.
I believe the point here is we all have plenty of work to do without constantly being disrupted with reply all email responses that do not add any value to our work. Calling this a culture is ridiculous! It’s nothing short of a nuisance.
If you have to defend wasting time to support your culture you have already lost. Alnylam is a great company, has been a great company, and has the chance to continue in this vein. Holding on to relics that add no value just because it gave you something to do before we became commercial is not an excuse to continue. Maybe since we also made no money we should continue to not make money? The person who is responding to this by asking people to quit is going to hurt this company in the long run which is a shame because he obviously likes Alnylam.
JG gonna cuss you out on this site if you keep bringing up areas of improvement. Just grin and bear it like everyone else.
A company of self promoting backstabbing losers. Horrible culture. I'll shovel shit in a circus before i work there
