If you worked in division you wouldn’t need to ask...

Scared to answer question? There is no direction-vision-plan. Rutterless is best how to describe the plan. Was hoping would get better with changes. Leadership at all functions lacking.

MCS is being driven to drive profit, period. Pipeline is expendable. Anyone who knew anything about LVAD therapy is gone - replaced by Medtronic bottom-line MBA types. Best they can hope for is to hold some share till Abbott stumbles.

look at history. he just did same thing at last business (advance energy) and then shut it down. no expense, don’t replace departed people, don’t invest in anything, write off as corp restructure. he has no idea how to grow and manage business.

abbott r&d currently led by guy that was here at heartware and was thrown out after medtronic.

Framingham keeps shrinking. Another tough AOP means another plan to shut it down. What is the real chance NN is there to divest the biz?

might not divest but close framingham and move to MN. NNs track record is well known.

At least we know the 10 year old pump is not an issue.

Barely shows up. Doesn’t know how to win. He’s the guy they put in charge to shut down businesses.

I’ll hold the door when Medtronic finally throws him (NN) out. I haven’t met a worst choice to lead a business in my 35+ years.

I think NN is doing great. The people you mentioned, they were going to get the business arrested. They did so much wrong.
There are rules and NN follows those rules it’s refreshing.

  20. Business would have been buried if MDT hadn’t purchased them. Abbott is winning... but business would be dead without MDT deep pockets and investing in business. So... think what you may... but this is worth mentioning.
