What’s up with the rumors that company cars will be fitted with trackers?
    True or not.

This is true. Part of transformation project from Sarah B Mullins, formerly of Soliqua marketing. It will help identify opps but will surely have micromanagement component too.

You think i they are going to fly out to the thousand vehicles around the country and secretly install trackers while in your garage? I would focus more on turning off tracking on your phone and iPad. My spouse doesn’t even know where I am all day.

Go look at the Amgen thread "Telemetrics". All reps were sent their trackers by mail last week.

correct, it's all about your mobile devices. most wouldn't believe just how much and what these two devices can track. The ios apps are much more advanced than the mobile car tracking 'black boxes' anyway. Also, turning off your devices will get you flagged and you will be monitored even more closely. Enjoy.

With everything that goes on at Sanofi - this is what you’re worried about? You people need to relax. They already have all the technology they need to track you to death if they wanted to. If you’re that paranoid or dishonest about your work - go elsewhere.

Please.... get real. Autonomy and flexible schedule is the nice thing about this job. Otherwise no one would want to do it. Do you work 8-5 every day?? Do you have that good of access in your accounts?? It's not about being lazy when you can't fill your day due to access restrictions. You're so full of bs.

smart millennial whippersnapper.. you should know how to disable tracking on apple equipment...or better yet leave the IPAD at home. No signatures needed for samples in the pharma big leagues.

The company gives you an iPad, they give you an iPhone, they give you a laptop, they give you a car, they give you a credit card, they give you a gas card. I'm a boomer myself, so i'm not putting boomers down. but you're an idiot if you think for one minute that the company is incapable of finding your location because you simply turned off location services on you're iPad.

They sure as hell will....probably already was on your car when you picked it up...based on other company experience...they will mail a tracker to you (or give you a place for installation) and give you 30 days to get it done...or else! Next will be video cams to determine if you are keeping to message track and in compliance.

Welcome to the new world....boy/girl/trans scouts.

Do you guys really think a company needs to install gps tracking devices in your car to find out if you're not working? think about this:

you put in your mileage every time you pay for gas.
you put in your route everyday when you call on offices.

it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that if there is a large discrepancy between those two numbers, then you're lying. derp derp

GPS(s) be used for "cause" to speed up firing process of under-performing reps. Unfortunately, it needs to be used evenly, so a few reps who work a few hours/minutes a day (but appear OK to quota)....or call on a phone more than they visit offices...may get affected by the GPS scheme. Nothing is implemented that does not cause pain these days!

if you're an "under performing rep" the company doesnt need a GPS tracking system to fire you... you can be fired for... wait for it... wait... under performing.

Correct you are...but valuable time still goes by. GPS speeds up the process and saves lawyer time. So get back to work...or get digitally fired.
