Obviously, they don't drug test very often here. Whatever this person is caked on is definitely banned on a standard 9 panel screening.

Does anyone see an upside in growth chalking the exodus up to a rocky start like most start ups experience in the first 1-2 years (been there done that). I'm thinking sometimes its better to get in after the start ups worked through their initial road blocks. Just trying to get an objective opinion as i know it can be frustrating to get let down when reps join a brand new company.

We are definitely turning the corner to prosperity! Great time to join our company!

This company has a toxic work environment, do not treat people with respect and a dictator leadership. The people who stay are friends of the CEO or think they can make a quick buck. The share price has been dropping due to consistent miss sales guidances. It has been a revolving door with sales..so RUN!

Disregard the above post. We all know who is spreading lies and they are bitter for being fired for falsifying call reports. Aerie is a great biotech to work for!

If anyone is bitter, its because they were misled by the company to accept a job here and by the complete ineptitude by the company in terms of growth forecasting (that we pay the consequences for by not getting paid any incentive comp).

They have missed on 6 straight quarters now and the stock price and company equity has been demolished. Sounds like a great place that is turning the corner. And all that apathy gets dumped on the sales force, which was thrown together at the last minute because they couldn't find a buyer for this dump.

Aerie wasn't set up to grow, it was set up to be sold. Its not bitter people who were fired who have left, its last years TOP award winners who are bailing! What does that tell you?

Aerie has had the most successful glaucoma launch in recent history. However, the leaders grossly over forecasted for 6 quarters in a row. Then, They didn’t payout their sales force. For example, if I make 100% to goal this quarter, at Aerie, that doesn’t equal 100% payout. Huh? Seems basic. Aerie hasn’t corrected this, Although they promise 2020 will be “different”. So you have to ask yourself if you believe them or not. I asked dm for details on how it would be different, I did not get specific answers. Maybe they still don’t know.

Really good products though. I have to say, rock inhibitors have a place in glaucoma treatment.

    no 401k match.
    Chevy equinox stripped down.
Sales force is very “green” in Eyecare. Aerie has turned over 75% of the tenured Eyecare reps. So it might be good opportunity for someone new to Eyecare.
    Big geographies.
    Massive turnover.
    Good stepping stone.
Aerie culture isn’t to develop people, so you have to be okay with “just being a rep” which is how reps are viewed at Aerie.
    No processes in place.
everyone is stretched thin so naturally there are just a lot of holes across all levels of the organization including: Marketing, training, HR, sales support, sales ops, analytics, on and on.
I’m 50/50 in recommending aerie as a place to work. If you’re experienced at all, you can find something better.
If you’re green or want to break into Eyecare, Aerie is a fine stepping stone and you never know, maybe Aerie will do better.

So what’s going on at Aerie? Gross over forecasting by out of touch forecasters and then punished sales force for their error.
I think these people have learned their lesson since MANY have quit over this ongoing issue. Good luck in your decision making.

I don't get it, seriously no 401K and stripped cars for large geographies?
I really want to get back into Eyecare but those are honestly deal breakers.
How are they attracting people with less than industry standard offering? If 2020 is going to be different, an easy fix would be correcting those mistakes.
