will be a lot RFPs after this deal closes mid-next year and once Stryker has access to the product line and customers look to get a better bundled deal. Shoulder pricing will probably drop like a rock in the bid to win the business and own accounts. Stryker does probably the best job of any at enforcing contract compliance as “sole” provider - typically requiring 80% account usage. Historically, Zimmer rarely has the balls to ask for the data on contract compliance. Wright’s Blueprint shoulder planning software is very slick (and it’s a free service) - once Stryker starts getting their docs using it, look out Zimmer shoulder business. If Stryker can figure out a way to monetize blueprint or maybe even at least comp reps on it to encourage its use (which drives product adoption and account conversion), really look out, cause SYK reps will be all over it!
