    Did anyone get hired for the neurology job postings 30 days ago? I noticed openings and then gone. Did contract get pulled?

    went to final panel interview in Dallas, of over 32 reps interviewed they only made one offer to rep in TN. they want "rare disease" rep experience but are paying below $100k base, told everyone they were not a good "fit". DM from TX is a piece of work, reject from UCB who thinks she is an epilepsy know it all.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

    Hired in West. Start date was Monday. Thank your lucky stars you didn’t get the job. All that BS talk during the interview about building “culture” and yet they are completely 100% metrics focused. Don’t know a thing about my team or manager but expectations were made VERY clear in the first 10 min. We’re back in primary care pharma folks. Big pharma “check the box” and babysitting at it’s finest. What do you expect from big pharma leadership who only knows one way?? The first clue that they have no clue. Not how you treat grown ass professionals in a start-up company. Already looking...

    Interview experience bad. Says much about overall culture. Unprofessional and awkward. I took job and looking. I know 3 other reps in Southeast already looking for new Neurology job! If anyone else searching: Avanir, Lilly, Merck, AccelRX, Arbor Neuro, and Amgen hiring Neuro Jobs.

    If you’re not getting over 100k here for this job I doubt you’re a real employee. Salaries are way above that

    avanir?? Have u been living under a rock? They’re making their reps sell off-label in nursing homes!! They have some shit drug with an indication for inappropriate laughing. How many people out there laugh so inappropriately that they need to see a doc for it?? Oh!! But wait, there’s hope!! A rather convenient side effect of said drug is that it renders you unconscious for awhile!! So those crafty avanir execs came up w the bright idea to sell it to docs in nursing homes for their Alzheimer’s patients that cause too much trouble for the sorry ass minimum wage LPNs on the night shift that would rather check Facebook than change grandmas diaper!!! This whole industry is a just a turd the size of a baby’s arm holding an apple, & no matter how many times the industrial grade toilet blasts away at it, it just lodges instead of going down!!! We’re all f—d & look no further than avanir if u need proof!!!!

    Place is a joke and their next drug will not make it to market. They know it and are still lying to all the reps about being brought over from Ashfield. If you are not looking for something else then you are a fool. Management is horrible and only care about themselves and keeping their job. Dallas Manager was the only good one and she just quit. West manager is a total clown who is afraid of his own shadow. East Manager is a total backstabber. Company won't be around long.

    laid off 25% of sales force, a week or 2 before xmas... nice.
    like 15 reps left nationally. they all want to kill themselves.
