Talk about a retread of a product. My God its older than Flo!! With that said, this will REALLY make systems think twice before jumping to JNJ now that we will add an extra 2% rebate on your Seprafilm sales. HA!! Gamechanger!!!
Butchie - you should know that people are watching how you sell off-label and how the exp reports are full of holes if the right folks look into it...
seprafilm is a decent product. where they got in trouble was the guy in pittsburgh was recommending a slurry. Throwing multiple sheets in a warm saline solution, dissolving these sheets, then recommending this slurry be poured into the abdominal space. the logic was this solution would coat every surface in the abdominal cavity, this create an all encompassing anti-adhesion barrier. genzyme reps were killing it. the pittsburgh was making $400k. until he was busted.
