Can someone tell me what the most Lilly will pay for a primary care sales rep in base salary with experience and a great track record? I heard $105k. Is that tops?

    What about specialty base pay?

For a primary care sales rep with great experience I'd say 68k. It also depends on what division you're in and what "great experience" looks like.

Specialty not much more than that.

Sheesh! That’s cheap AF. Well I had a Lilly specialty rep tell me they made a little over $115k base. If that’s true then I want to try to move over to Lilly. But most of what I’ve read here seems like the base is much much lower

This not true. PC base with experience 85-105k and specialty 115k and up

I went through training 5ish years ago. Had 5 years experience with good track record. They offered me 75 if I remember correctly. Two other people I talked to in my training class with my similar experience were offered less.

My offer was 72k with 5 years non-pharma experience and top 5% performance at my most recent company. I asked them to bump it so final offer was 75k. Another pharma company last year (didn't take the offer) offered 80k so I think Lilly is a bit on the lower end. I don't know about 10+ year reps though, obviously.

So true!! I'm in the DBU as well and agree with you. Novo is making a strong run with OZ and their oral. I am calling it right now....layoffs by next Fall. We are toast. Whoever told us not to post a salary number online...HAHAHA WHO CARES!!! And just to show I do not care.... I was offered 65k when I came on 6 years ago. Merry Christmas everyone!

Whoever said the base pay for PC is 85k is outta their mind. Lilly starts at 47k and tops out around 100k for PC. You'd have to be 1 in a million to get that 100k number. Lilly would never bring someone in at that. Most people with experience with fall into the 65k to 75k range. Lilly just doesn't pay enough to go any higher than that.

Not sure what your angle is here, but you are either completely lying or just misinformed. PC rep here close to your top range. Hell, we had contract reps years back promoting humalog who had bases at 65k.

I agree with this poster. I started in 2001 in pharma at 47 base. Lol. New grads with No work experience are starting in the the low 60s. Get your story straight.
