    Downsizing to reduce overhead and increase profits. They are keeping viable territories that continue to grow. They are eliminating territories that continue to decline in growth. Remaining territories will become much larger. Good luck all.

    This might be credible! My manager isn't denying that they are doing a re-org of some territories. Not a layoff but a re-structure. I wish we could volunteer and get the severance. Good luck with recruiters we don't have a very positive standing in the pharma world. This company blows!

    Yes, restructuring. Restructuring the flat and low performing reps out of the company.

    I know you meant low performing “territories” and that’s almost 20 states according to the reports. We’re in an opioid epidemic .... we can’t say we didn’t all see it coming.

    In the eyes of BDSI, the rep and the territory are one in the same. There is no difference.
    The sales force is bloated and underperforming. A reduction of 50% in reps and managers is plausible.

    My manager told me that they are not using an outside company to do the analytics for the layoffs. It will be Scott and the ASD’s making the decisions on who go’s and who stays. Scary thought especially if you weren’t at the bar getting sloppy drunk with them.

    Is it layoffs and reducing territories or letting go low performing reps and keep the territories as is?

    I have an electric car with a 90 mile range. 99% of the time I charge it at home once per day over night when excess capacity is being generated just to keep the plant running. The rates are cheaper and no additional carbon is being added to the atmosphere.
