Hello.. not looking for the trolls to comment. I’m entertaining offfers from gsk and another company . I heard GSK has tests regularly and the ranking system is bullshit. Any truth to this ? I’m not trying to do monthly tests ...

Also terrible with numbers - don’t really grade you on sales.

Tests were used in rankings about 6 years ago. Rankings are based on a larger geography (your manager's district/region) than your territory as well as subjective behavior rankings done by your manager at calibration meetings. The rankings are bullshit but new reps typically do well. After all, the manager needs to defend their recent hire at the calibration meeting.

What division? Direct hire or contract? What’s the other offer? I’ll give you the straight scoop

This is correct. Management disingenuously attempts to make the rankings appear objective, but that is complete BS. Your initial rankings should be ok so that the manager defends their decision. Welcome to gsk!

I would take the oncology job with gsk. I hear they are paying you more money or a higher bonus potential. There are several previous gsk oncology reps that are leaving other oncology jobs to come to gsk for more money. Gsk oncology will treat you better than the respiratory pharma reps and will pay you on your own territory performance. Ranking system sucks but no money/bonus tied to that. It’s used in respiratory to decide next layoffs. Doubt there will be layoffs in oncology since its a new division

I’d go GSK over dsi. Especially if selling Zejula
