Salix is Great - Shut up and work

Salix has a strict policy. Manager here. Anybody outside of the range is lying. Because of the bonus potential the salary is fixed. Nobody anywhere else has the bonus potential as here.

Salix wants reps who will go get a big bonus. Not fat ass lazy people who don’t work and want just a big salary. Bonus is more than salary will be.

 

Yep, turn and burn. Sounds like entry level pharma company.

 

Most companies pay higher salaries and pretty much the same bonus. The salaries are low because salix is cheap and bonus is the part of comp that can be manipulated all the way up to the payout. If you wanted people to work you wouldn’t overload them with nonsense admin and ride alongs

 

And she’ll be looking to replace her $131k base salary, as an individual contributor, in 2yrs...because it is unsustainable. As a sales person you should want heavy incentive upside. The bases some of these companies throw around are accompanied by high risk. Buyer beware.

Yeah. Tell that to the Abbvie and Gilead reps. Salix is cheap and fewer are able to make their targets as time goes on. Did you happen to see the tiny number of people who won anything in the last contest? We break records quarter over quarter and 80% of the sales force can’t hit 100%. Salix used to be great. Now it’s a joke.

 

I’m not sure what you’re speaking about. Everyone I know personally makes 15k+ a quarter. Every quarter. I’ve never made less than 85k in bonus a year here at Salix. Never. Even my first year. The first quarter was training bonus and I still made 85+ in Q2/3/4. You’re just a bum. You’re just at the bottom - if you work you’d be on top.

 

You cannot work at Salix. A cursory look at the sales contest or weekly reports will tell you that the majority are not hitting goal. And they haven’t been all year. I’m calling you out for the basement dwelling, keyboard warrior troll you are.

Again. You cannot be a rep at Salix. The majority are NOT making plan. I am a Willow TM. Last week the numbers came out. Trulance is 91%, Xifaxan is 97% and IBSD is 95% to plan nationally. 9 districts are at plan for Xifaxan and 2 are at plan for Trulance. Out of 30! 33 territories out of 97 are at plan for Xifaxan. 22 territories are at plan for Trulance. Maybe you are banking those big checks in Mom’s basement. But you aren’t doing it at Salix.
