    1) CG is like a dream come true. At least for me.
    2) I don't know "average", but I'm at $195,000, and expect to make $65-70k.

Spread your lies elsewhere, loser. Hopefully OP is here and has found that other post to be accurate. We all wish that ex primary care reps would just GTFO

He is a total kiss ass to management. Was successful as a rep and made sure he told everyone that he was. Probably a good family man, but if you want to work with someone that will challenge management as they promote off-label, it’s not him.

You can use the second half of your last sentence to describe a significant percentage of RBDs here. So what's your point?

Do not be fooled by that amount the bonus is something this company looks the other way and I have news it will get worse next year. I can see how some people are upset here, I am also because of all the lies especially during interviews. I was told there will be SO many opportunities for career growth, it is not happening, I am not complaining I was warned ahead of time but I still had faith in people here. With the departure of JJ forget about promotions and career advancement.

Here is the real deal on CG. He is a nice dude, but selfish and will never watch out for the masses (including his team).
He was originally promised a management job by someone then couldn’t close the deal with the hiring manager (JM) and got passed over, so this position was his consolation prize. Funny thing is after a big shake up, the hiring manager who didn’t want him was unexpectedly moved to the amyloid team and had to take him anyway. A large number of BAEs from multiple regions voiced concern about any leadership ability and his lack thereof, but here we are...
He is a horrible manager who has no clue how to communicate with people. He wants to be everyones friend, but it comes off fake.
His predecessor didn’t know how to communicate and I thought it couldn’t get worse, but holy s**t it can.
CG is only the face of the RBD. JM is telling him exactly what to say and do and even though it isn’t right, CG does it because he has no balls.
All he does to his “peeps” is complain about this job and how his wife hates him for taking it. He constantly complains to the BAEs he thinks he’s “tight” with about how he is so sick of JM for the texts/calls before and after work hours wanting to know when the next start form is coming and where it is coming from.
Alnylam will offer you a good salary and a nice car, but what you have to deal with when you’re here isn’t worth it. Honestly most people here who have a brain and don’t just suck down the proverbial kool-aid think this is the WORST mistake they ever made.
Most territories will really struggle and frankly have no hope of being successful which means very little bonus. They will promise you things to entice you to come, but it is all smoke and mirrors. If you happen to get a territory with a big Amyloid center, you could be ok, but that will be short lived.
Everyone is looking to leave and for good reason.

Here is a piece of advice - if you don’t have a job and need the money, take the job here but understand it is a short term gig and you should continue looking for something better and more stable, but once they get their hooks in you, it will be a nightmare! If you have a job and are just looking to make a career move, do yourself and family a favor and look somewhere else!

    Good luck to you. I

The above post is unequivocally incorrect and misleading. If you really took the time to get to know him you’d realize the depth and breadth of his desire to help others professionally. His asks as a manager are simple: accountability, proactive/planning and optimism. He gives everyone the opportunity to work autonomously and doesn’t bog you down with superfluous reports and tasks. Given the short time frame he’s had to manage the group it’s unfair and unrealistic to think you can formulate such strong negative opinions. If you are truly unhappy with CG or Alnylam than move on. It’s that simple. Stop using the secrecy of this forum to spew negativity.

    $150k max. in base.

Again, not true. There are definitely BAEs making between $160-175K. Maybe they have decided to reduce starting pay, but legacy BAEs can be a lot higher than $150K.
