A sincere plead to the CEoF senior leaders

    On behalf of many dedicated and loyal CS's, we are pleading you guys in SSF to select your next groups of HDs and HEDs diligently. We all know that the account managers and RGMs barely know our business. They work a couple days a week and know nothing about our markets, customers or managing people. We hate to tell you that you also picked up a bunch of snakes and back stabbers . They cannot lead and will take us all to the cliff. Stay away from those who tell you what you want to hear.

    Most of us wanted to stay until we saw the horrible selection. What were you thinking??? Many of the great CS's I know decided to take the package to avoid working for these scumbags who have no integrity!. Many of us were shocked that the business savvy and decent DMs got passed over. You sent a wrong message to all of us. What a shame! If you want to make this ecosystem work, you need to have some honest and smart people leaders to help us in this totally mysterious model. We can't follow the people we don't trust! Please stop this madness! I hope you take this plead seriously

    Crickets. I feel for you. I knew people’s plea would fall on deaf ear. That is why I had to speak up on the boards, to wake people up. Please, understand the meta in the game. The new leaders are place holders. They were put in place by design. Once, they have completed the dirty task. They will be gone too. Genentech is a shell of its former self. Stripped from its former identity. Doesn’t it feel dystopian? 1984 almost. SAD and BLEAK.

    How could this whole thing be so off-the-chart wrong? It's like amateur night. These SSF idiots and new HDs really make leaving a no-brainer. My package doesn't come quick enough. I hope gene will have enough high school dropouts to launch their new drugs.

    No idea who she is. But then integrity was not one of the criteria for the ecosystem leadership. The honest and capable ones got kicked in their mouths in the process. We see where this new company is going. Love my customers. Just can’t see myself working for these HDs. .

    What happens to a company that systemically hires and promotes the people who sound the same, who act the same and have the same "mindset". What happens when they routinely marginalized those who don't kiss up or group think?

    Genentech used to be a great place when I joined in 2000. Smart people were everywhere. Some were quiet and some were loud. They were mostly genuine and original. When I ran into the sales people on campus, they were mostly nice and enjoyable. Fast forward to 2019. We have become a cult organization. We now only hire talkers who act like they are smart. They use the same stupid words like they cannot think. Most senior leaders are self absorbed and arrogant. They all fancy themselves as some kind of silicone valley visionary. I cannot keep a straight face when they act like they deserve the medal of honor just because they could come up with juvenile ideas on a few sticky notes. And don't get me started with stick notes. I got through my MBA at Stanford without using a single sticky note.

    I just ran into some sales managers a couple weeks ago. She was loud and stupid. Shallow and obnoxious. No wonder why our customers hate us these days. I became friends with a few very smart and professional sales managers and reps through my projects over the years. They are absolutely miserable these days. Perhaps this laughable CEoF gimmick would give them enough reasons to go somewhere that is normal. This place has officially turned into a mental ward. People are either depressed or delusional. I am neither. So I can't wait until March! You will not find Gene to be on the best place to work list any time soon. I only wish there were term limits for our VPs. Good luck to you all.

    This is pharma sales. The business of Starbucks deliveries and filling out lunch forms.

    This happens in business every day. Be thankful you are compensated extremely well for what you do.

    Seriously reps - your “clinical” expertise is just strong enough to sell your way out of a paper bag. BioOnc has been a bloated machine for years, you all just attend territory board meetings and bitch about how you can’t see anyone. If you were in-dispensable your customers would not be booting your asses out....you provide no value.....sorry it’s the truth and it hurts. Most other gene reps work 0.5 days per week and have for years. It’s finally time to change this company of spoiled, angry, complainers who can’t sell.

    Allow me to play doubles advocate here for a moment. For all intensive purposes I think you are wrong. In an age where false morals are a diamond dozen, true virtues are a blessing in the skies. We often put our false morality on a petal stool like a bunch of pre-Madonnas, but you all seem to be taking something very valuable for granite. So I ask of you to mustard up all the strength you can because it is a doggy dog world out there. Although there is some merit to what you are saying it seems like you have a huge ship on your shoulder. In your argument you seem to throw everything in but the kids Nsync, and even though you are having a feel day with this I am here to bring you back into reality. I have a sick sense when it comes to these types of things. It is almost spooky, because I cannot turn a blonde eye to these glaring flaws in your rhetoric. I have zero taller ants when it comes to people spouting out hate in the name of moral righteousness. You just need to remember what comes around is all around, and when supply and command fails you will be the first to go. Make my words, when you get down to brass stacks it doesn't take rocket appliances to get two birds stoned at once. It's clear who makes the pants in this relationship, and sometimes you just have to swallow your prize and accept the facts. You might have to come to this conclusion through denial and error but I swear on my mother's mating name that when you put the petal to the medal you will pass with flying carpets like it’s a peach of cake

    Shocking - donisha has a comment on everything and everyone and has no idea what she is talking about - absolutely the worst manager/RSD/HED out there. Many of us are not applying for anything under her, can’t run away fast enough. Last day at NFM going to finally tell her to shut the xxxx up!
