Bill? Marty? Guido? Susan? Is anyone on the board paying attention?

Debatable but what isn’t debatable is how useless DV is. Every interaction is worse than the last. No leadership attributes at all but tries to make up for it with useless activities he can use to make himself look better to those higher up. Pulled the same stuff while he was in the office from what I hear. Everyone was happy to see him go but obviously those in the throne decided his antics should be rewarded. The most rude and insecure person I have ever interacted with but get him in a room of execs and he turns on the charm LOL.

Marketing team was ecstatic he left. Their loss is the West's gain.

Distributors could run these products profitably. Why all this overhead? Rather heavy at VP and director with only an injection and brace in the bag. If not adding a new clinical product in the next quarter should split sales force ASAP

Have you met his replacement? They managed to make an even worse decision. Completely useless and lost at all times. Another horrible people decision. Traveled to the office recently and the morale is so bad it’s toxic not just there but in entire building. People are rudderless with leaders no where to be found. To make things worse they have now brought it to the field in the form of DV. Not only incompetent but insecure, has no life. attention hungry, and loads of energy pointed in the wrong directions. If JN were not here he would have been let go months ago or never hired.

How can not have bad morale, none of the products Bioventus carries work better than placebo

The products are not the problem. All have a place and as good or better than anything out there. The problem is the company keeps tripping all over itself. Rather than fixing the real issue of senior leadership. No matter how good the products we are being driven to the toilet by a bunch of short sighted, incompetent, partially committed (and the list goes on) morons that are here because they couldn’t hack it anywhere larger. Mainly because no company would ever place them in such positions. There are a lot of great examples to prove this point but I agree with the prebious comments that DV is the best proof. Placed/forced where he is due to JN being incestuous. Everyone that interacts with DV knows he has childlike tendencies and all other descriptions previously provided. The example alone reveals all you need to know about company and what they believe and hold up as what a good “leader” looks like given his senior position. HR should be ashamed. No thanks

Not everyone at Bioventus is incompetent. Some of us have had great success at other companies and are moving on to those companies now.

Since most of them make more money than we do, this probably isn’t either.

The reason you don’t make any money is similar to why the company is being driven to the ground. It’s pilots. We are just along for the ride. Not only do they not know how do a Competitive or appropriate compensation plan for us, but they give away our products for nothing so we can land contracts that bring in volume and tell a good story upward and outside the company. If you haven’t figured it out yet, everything we do is short sighted and about getting a IPO so the clowns at top can cash out and move on. Our profitability will be horrible next year for those around long enough to see it happen. Get ready to hump it 3x as hard and still hear that we are not doing enough due to their bad decisions. There will be travel and operational cuts by mid year. I would make good friends with recruiters.

The way you write says all you need to know about the caliber of people hired. The place is a nightmare.

the truth hurts and everyone not drinking the serum knows to be true. I left this dump 6 months ago and stopped in to see what had improved. Clearly nothing because the same people set on top or have changed seats. Cash in while you can and move on, there is a much better world out for you without a needing to deal with morons telling you to “own” their bs decisions and have to work with people like DV

Troubles me how a company could make such poor decisions in its leaders. DV is a poster child insecure top-down leader who can’t inspire or communicate a clear thought. I see many clueless people in all the wrong positions.

That one is easy... he wanted to go back to Cali and JN is extremely loyal to him and offered him that job. DV is the single most insecure, ineffective commutator at BV but he will do anything over the last 17 years JN asks so he gets rewarded. Manages up well but down worse than an abusive dictator. PS had no say in that and can’t fire him. Our CEO is like Jerry Jones and won’t make tough decisions because he has a huge heart and is overly loyal as well. The only ones who truly understand the business are PH ops, DH marketing and PS at a leadership level. The rest are in it for a failed IPO.
