I had someone reach out on LinkedIn about an open therapy consultant position.. is this a good move?

I'm a TC. Came from one of the big 3. Nevro is the best employer I've ever had. Benefits alone blow the competition out of the water. Nevro HF10 is a great therapy to support. Would move over again in a heartbeat.

Is it awful for Therapy Consultants? I know they churn through reps, but maybe the TC’s have it better???

Thanks for the responses.. I’m a rep somewhere and this doesn’t seem like a sales position how they initially described..

Therapy Consultant is not a sales rep. You will support sales by covering cases and working with physicians and patients to optimize delivery of the therapy. If you want to be a rep at Nevro eventually, it’s not a bad move. Probably a 40% likelihood that the rep you support will quit or get fired in the next 12 months, 80% at two years. You’ll be on deck!

But how are the salaries like for TC? Clinicals for the big 3 are at least car allowance and 90k+.
