Heard it was a blood bath this year for the RX side. What was the final headcount reductions?

What happened to the VP we have burned through about 5 or more people in that position in the last 5 years or so what is the problem?

I also heard that the CEO will visit the HQ before the sales meeting. Then 1/3rd of the Rx sales force will be dismissed in late Feb. Have a happy New Year !

VPs turn over every 2 years so nothing unusual. What “entire sales team” got laid off? If you worked here you would know that was not the case.

Doubt they are going to start year, with a new launch and then cut 1/3 of sales force. That Dosent seem to make logical sense. But ok you seem to know!

i believe only 8 people were let go. and some in areas where the reps were needed why let go of 8 people when there were 30 positions open ?

i disagree a VP being of sales being let go every two years is not normal. Either these people are not set up for success or they are the ones holding the bag due to poor or overly aggressive goal setting, poor marketing plans and or poor GM decisions Not to mention bad managed care access.
Glad the sales team is ok, but beware anyone can be next the big G has had several layoffs since 2014 and would not surprise anyone that more may be in store.
