What has happened? Your focus on the big “B” figure has you so jaded and listening the wrong people. You were once a salesman’s executive. What made us so successful since your arrival was your willingness to listen to your “producers”. In the last few years you have been surrounded by folks(Furtaw, Wise, Hopper etc.)that have either never carried a bag or were poor performers when they did. You were set to leave a legacy of building one of the greatest organizations in the industry. A place once considered a destination job where the best of the best worked and others would have killed to be. You have allowed Furtaw to stifle our potential and kill morale. He is the most despised individual in Karl Storz history and you are obvious to the fact. The compensation plan is a joke. 1/3 of the airway sales force has departed and drives of others are weighing their options outside the company. Retention of 2/3 of a reps earnings in escrow until their year end quota is surpassed goes completely against what motivates the talent you have in your arsenal. This is clearly the mentality and type of plan medical companies selling disposables employ not capital companies. Your were sold a bill of goods by your inner circle and money grubbing consultants. Segmentation has devastated the sales reps potential to provide for their family’s. Please leave your ivory castle and once again hear the voice of those that serve you! Please don’t disembowel the company in your quest to reach an arbitrary dollar figure! What type of legacy will you leave if carnage is left behind after you have spent 30 years building greatness? Examine history and you will have your answer!

Company seems to have a very, very serious diversity issue. Look at top leadership and all you will see is white men, good ole boys club, heavy drinkers with dark hearts and greed as their foundation.

    Isn't that all of America?
