Say what you want about the competition, however, do your due diligence and you will see that Lilly is wayyyyyyy behind on what they pay us. Our business unit is already the least paid across all BUs - when you see what's out there you will discover that we are also the least paid, PERIOD. Lilly needs to come correct and increase our base salary!

Not only is the salary low but bonuses are one of lowest in industry. It’s a joke.

we get pensions which is much better than any bonus. If you don’t like it here, LEAVE!

Pensions??? HAHAHA okay buddy. You think you'll be around long enough for a pension? As a drug rep the chances of you not being laid off is 0%. Good luck with your pension.

Totally agree. You can’t count on being around long enough for a pension. And yes, trust me. Lilly salary is dry low compared to other companies. The bonus sucks too, plus 1/2 of your bonus depends on your district. Good grief. What does 5 other territories have to do with my performance? Makes me not wanna try that hard for my measles 1/2 commission

Biohaven has already filled out most of their sales force. And yes they much much better. They pay better than most companies

Yeah go read the clinical data and their thread.... I would not be so sure that gig has much sustainability, grass may not be greener.

This is a joke. As they will cut you before you qualify for a really good pension. Look how many received walking papers that had between 20 to 25 years and more. There are no more good pensions any longer at Lillys or anyplace else to speak of

You should look at their pipeline. Biohaven will be a good company for 2 years until it's bought out. Those complaining about salary, yes other companies are better, but if the culture at Lilly isn't enough of a trade off for the salary. You should jump to another company, because it's not worth it for you. Complaining on here will get zero response from corporate. Be adults say it to their face, if they won't increase your salary, go find someone who will!

This will definitely happen again! I’m in the DBU and I think we have way too many reps.! It will probably happen in Q4 of 2020 if they stay “on cycle”.

I left after 20 years for a biotech gig. Been here for 5. Doesn’t do a pension but it’s taken me 5 years to build up what took me 10 at Lilly. Better 401k that matches dollar for dollar up to 10%, MRSP that matches .50 cents on the dollar, employee stock purchase plan at a discount, restricted shares every year, and a great bonus plan ($50k last year), and 2 additional job grades for field reps that Lilly doesn’t have. These are DM level total comp plans. There is no comparison....not to mention the difference in culture. Lots of former Lilly here and everyone is very happy. There is life after Lilly...and it’s pretty damned good.
