From what I understand, the chances are slim field sales reps as well as internal will be acquired by the company who is buying I & V. Just be smart people!

No Shit. Simple math. Intrarosa does not make money. Vyleesi new and slow uptake.

Don’t pretend you will have a job. Not happening

It is obvious we won’t have jobs in the near future. Those of you working “business as usual” are idiots. You should be looking for a job!

Even if sales is acquired, it would be a hot mess.

Thoughts on some of us staying with AMAG to support Makena, especially legacy WMH?

A possibility - if a rep were to "stay" with makena, our run would be pretty short - maybe another year - too many generics and it's just a matter of time till the company stops making as much money with it (which is already happening), or unless FDA decides to shut makena down, then not even a year. Don't count on 423 to be yours, if and when it ever gets approved, it's could easily to go to hem/onc since they have hospital exp. b/c makena reps do a good job with acct management, but not so sure they could sell 423. Without 423 in our bag, what else is there....

Rose: Mr. Andrews... I saw the iceberg and I see it in your eyes... please, tell me the truth.
Thomas Andrews: The ship will sink.
    Rose: You're certain?
Thomas Andrews: Yes. In an hour or so, all of this will be at the bottom of the Atlantic.
    Cal Hockley: What?
Thomas Andrews: Please, tell only who you must. I don't wanna be responsible for a panic. And get to a boat quickly, don't wait. You remember what I told you about the boats?
    Rose: Yes... I understand.

Makena (if it remains on the market) is a “Provider-driven product,” not a “Rep-driven product,” like Vyleesi and Intrarosa. This was spelled out plainly on previous call. Read between the lines.

Besides, who would want to deal with the never-ending hassle and nightmare that is Makena for the remainder of their short career?!

The plan for the company is simple. V. And I will be sold. Makena will die a natural death by the FDA and all reps pulled off of promotion immediately. Oncology will be spun off last and AMAG will no longer exist. Everyone in every department should be hard at it to find a new job.

Agree with above with certain modifications, V & I will be sold at pennies on the dollar vs. the cost to develop/in-license. Hard to imagine how Makena doesn't get pulled, with failed study and advisory committee recommendation, FDA would have little credibility if they don't pull it. Pipeline may have some interest but not close enough. Yes the company has hit an iceberg and has serious, if not fatal, challenges in the near term

V and sales team are going together - mark it

What company wants to train a sales team on V and start at square one?

We all need to start looking for new gig.

Of course they will want a new team for V. The new company would be stupid to bring a group of wounded soldiers into the mix. They want energy and new blood not the same crap as before.

I have heard this happen with some companies like Arbor. They bought a Restless leg product, took the reps. But then offered $40K less base and made it so that most left on their own. That way, they did not have to pay severance.

The winner is Poster #12 I think. Amag won't even exist in a couple years. You only left one part out....

BH will buy his own private island with all the insane comp he received and will be sipping on Pina Coladas.

And don't forget all his cronies the company is willing to pay out extra cash to stick around this year
