I hope Kai puts him on a PIP to see how he likes it. We love Brad here because he actually understands everyone of our geographies, managed care, pushes us, and actually cares. The difference with you is you sold in Michigan as a rep and a manager and have no clue how a hard managed market is and how access challenges can be.

Post #5 sums it nicely. I think the PIP threat is just another misguided effort from incompetent management trying to scare people. Such tactics have never worked. Today, the number #1 way drugs get to be prescribed are their managed care coverage. Territories are vastly different between each other. There is no real way to compare one territory to another, no mater what they say or analytics tool they use. Reps have nowhere near the influence over prescribing as they once did. When you have basically me-too products, it becomes even more difficult to get market share.

The lost revenue from failed drugs, patent expirations, coupled with buying 2 companies, has put tremendous pressure on hitting profit goals. If the headache drug fails to get approval, things will get much worse.

Let's face it, most of us won't make budget this year. This will give them a reason to clean house. Upper Northwest area of Pacific Northwest will have an especially bad time....mark my words. Get out now before Hell freezes you out!

This job is now nothing else but misery. Scripts at any cost!! Wow! And in the meantime, more and more clinics close or only want one rep per product... I just wanna puke!

Look at your obstacles as a challenge! Yes you manager is a psycho, but use it to your advantage. Pretend you have 100% managed care access and it will be so. One rep per office? No problem! Have masks made where you all look alike! Problem solved! Look at your drugs as if God himself put them on Earth to save lives! Tell the docs your products are divinely inspired! They will love it! WORLD CLASS IN ALL WE DO!

He quit and went to work for another company is what I heard. Heard the rep was the number #1 rep in his district. AB is in need of in patient psych treatment. HEard HR was not interested in what the rep had to say. No surprise there.

Very true. Selling me too drugs is about as mind numbing as it gets. Doctors are sick and tired of hearing about Trintellix, AM ND Rexulti. But what the hell, it’s a job.
