From what I know with the major players from GE to Toshiba down to Carestream etc. base is anywhere from $50k-$80k plus commissions depending on comp plan of 1%-4%. Some pay a flat rate of say 4% from dollar 1 and have a lower base I.E. $50k I'd heard for Toshiba, others like Philips start you at $85k base but have a tiered commission structure.

Most at 100% of plan it seems are $140-180k.

Which Capital Equip & Medical Device companies are folks making 200K+ consistently, with $300k+ upside?

Strangley, the niches with most money are the least sexy. Certain DME positions which call on government healthcare seem to be best. Was offered a 1099 role recently with a first year guarantee of 450k. Top reps doing well beyond. Only passed on the position as we couldn’t guarantee that my territory wouldn’t be cut for 3 years.
My point is, these high dollar positions are still out there.

I'm in imaging (niche) and have not made under 350K for the past 5 years. Best year is 490K.

Define "imaging" please. Do you sell MRI services to orthos, or do you sell MRI machines? C-arms? Or are you selling ultrasound machines for Phillips?

Imaging Capital Equipment. There are spaces outside of MRI, C-Arms or U/S. Those are 250K jobs, with great years getting you above 300K

Radiation oncology capital sales would be my guess being in the imaging space. that seems to be where the high dollar gigs are in capital imaging
