All this talk of 11%. It’s 11% if you don’t hit your number. It’s 12% if you do hit your number then like 18% for everything over. Thought there might be a couple souls on here that make quota....apparently not.

2020 it didn’t go down, it went up.

 

Spine - only negative 6% OUS and negative 9% US growth for Q4. Spine is back!

 

Do they still take out the quintiles % in the team model? We were forced to take a quintile rep on in our team model and the guy quit w/in the first week and we never got back the % we gave up to rep and were told that's just how it is.

Seems like the Team model is an incredibly convenient way for managers to shave points off the 11% and nobody in the team would know unless everyone on team knew exactly what each others exact % is.

Do sales consultants still have to take it on the chin with expenses? Trauma reps had to pay for car, gas, cell phone, insurance and any and all other related expenses. I mentioned it seemed a bit odd that mitek reps got car, gas, cell phone and insurance paid for and trauma reps paid out of pocket. I was told by our absolutely clueless AVP that came from Mitek and did ABSOLUTELY nothing but do more harm than good that if we wanted to be paid like a mitek rep we could get on their comp plan. Think about that for a second..... what idiot says that. Classic JNJ leadership. Punish the trauma guys for working 24/7, missing just about every important life event, constantly increasing sales despite having the contracts department sabotage just about every decent account and they have the balls to make you feel like a freeloader for asking for your business expenses to be paid for in a SALES role. Ha!!! What a joke! I’m astonished there are any legacy synthes guys around.
