Discussing fleet cars with another rep. The other rep said JnJ offers a Volvo as a fleet car. As they were not with JnJ, I thought I would ask here. Does JnJ offer volvos?

Years back, some reps and senior reps had Volvos. Different options now with upgraded cars as potential to buy.

You bet we do. What’s your WWID and I’ll place the order for you, just in black or white colors.

I left a couple years ago but in 2016 I had the option to pay 2 or 4K extra (don’t remember exactly) for a base model “stripper” Volvo XC60 with cloth seats, no rear window tint, no awd etc...

The Camry I got instead for no cost was loaded with “leather”, heated seats, nav, and adaptive cruise control. That was a much better car than the Volvo.

Also, if you’re going to pay money for an upgrade you don’t get it back when you leave or are laid off which is almost an inevitability given the incompetence at Jansen. Do your safe a favor, don’t pay extra for a company car.

JnJ offered Volvos for an extra $2000 more in 2015, 2016 and 2017 with numerous color options. Unfortunately there were lots of safety issues with the fleet version (engine failures, smoking hoods, fuse issues etc) that they got rid of the Volvo’s starting in 2018 and 2019. You may get “lucky” and get a used one as a new hire but you won’t be ordering a new one as they do not offer it anymore.

You can’t seriously think you’ll find that answer here. At least the real one.

I’ve Actually gotten some really good information from here, it’s not all accurate, so you have to take some with a grain of salt, but generally you know who the solid posters are
