Product quality for both bellavista and fabian is worse than 2 years ago when both were acquired. The primary reasons for this are two years of under-investment, and 2 years of senior management constantly changing direction on what to do with development, remediation, recalls, supplier changes, etc.... Almost the entire engineering staff has quit in the meantime, meaning there are very few people left at Vyaire who really understand these products. Couple this with supplier and manufacturing changes and product quality is worse than 2 years ago. It's only a matter of time before bellavista has a global recall. I'd wait until APAX sells vents to someone else as part of breaking up the company before purchasing either of these.
