Just heard from HR and and they said to continue to do what you've been doing. Stay on your knees and keep the boys happy for a few more months but keep checking your email for updates.

NYC lost 2 brave souls one rep and one Hospital both of which were too good to stay in this dump. Opportunities are out there dont let them tell you otherwise.

My buddy is a recruiter and told me that there are contingent offers going out to 3 reps down South. Looks like they are going to have a few exit soon as well.

Hi there team...we are getting close to the big POA in Dallas. I think that we need some theme music at the POA for Alkermes stock. I'd like to nominate "I've got friends in low places".

Ha Ha. This is really funny post because it is so true, but if you really think about it it is sad. I've been here for almost 8 years and this company has changed. I heard that they are on to a few that are really abusing the meals and travel expenses and are concentrating on the HBL team specifically. Heard receipts have been pulled for cigars and premium liquor. OP above must be in the know because she talks about cigars. BTW idiots, cigars are not an expensable item!! I hope they nail those abusers to the wall before they fire them. I miss the good old days before they brought in all the uneeded rep teams from other companies. That type of over the top expenses would have never been done by those who started this comapny.

You make some great points. This crazy expense report spending has to stop. It all started when Robinson and Apostle came here. Big shots. Just ask 'em.
They brought over people who think they're big shots too. Just ask 'em.
So far removed from the culture of this company just 4 short years ago. I remember eating dinner at subway when traveling on business. And I agree that it seems most of the abuse is coming from the Hospital team. KAM team is pretty over the top too.

Hope they make an example out of a few of them.

FRMs as well. They will book an expensive flight for 1 meeting and stay at a posh place. Absurd!!!!

My favorite expense story is from the last POA. You might recall that just before that one Jim Frates issued new travel reimbursement guidelines dropping the maximum daily meal allowance from $150 to $100 and creating a two drink per day limit for reimbursement. OK...so those are reasonable rules. But what's the first thing that Frates did at the POA? He slapped down the company card and bought multiple rounds of drinks in the hotel bar.

I think the expression "Do as I say, not as I do.".

Wow...thanks for the tip! If I see Jim at the bar in Dallas I'll saddle up next to him and drink free for the night. Sure, the company may be as dull as dry toast...but after a few cocktails he'll be way more tolerable!
